The final take & I miss but don’t tell me that it was a mistake.
The cut from shade to sun has put this place inside a fire-orange haze,
Where I rarely realize reasons are wrongly resolved or replaced.

I bask in the thought, more often than not of proceeding eras rarely forgotten.
So I’ll bask in cut cloth until the feeling is lost or I am cognitively dissonant.

Seconds aside, I push for hours and hope to turn it into days.
The downside is that all these blues start to now seem like grays.
It’s the reason I rarely realize that all was right & re-phrased.

Honestly, i typically recoil at electronic beats, but good lord is "Dead-Eyed God" a haunting, beautiful track! It's just delightful to see one of your favorite musicians expanding their palette with such confidence & taste.
